So, let’s get started!

What’s at the top of your dream destination list?

Kat: Bali and Thailand are currently on top of my list. I have dreamt of going there for a very long time now.

Sylwia: I organise CKAC trips to share my dreams with others and to help them to reach their dreams. It was Cambodia, but I`m going there with CKAC as the trip host, so i can say that dream has come true!. Next on my list is Bali, Indonesia!

Lukasz: A tour in Rome listening to songs of the band named “Triarii”.

Olha: My top country to visit would be Ireland.

Kristina: It’s hard to choose just one place, I think North America sits at the top of my list 🙂

CKAC offers so many amazing and diverse trips. Which CKAC trip looks most exciting to you? (To see our latest trips, click here.)

Kristina: The Lapland trip looks amazing.

Olha: They all look fun! Mount Everest Base Camp Trek looks the most attractive to me, as I like mountains very much.

Kat: Bali  – it will help me tick one thing off my bucket list. Sylwia and I will swap next year, so I am hoping to do Thailand too. 🙂

Lukasz: Game of Thrones Adventure – Sightseeing and wine tasting in Dubrovnik and Korcula, as I’m a big fan of the “Song of Fire and Ice’ saga and I really enjoyed the “Game of Thrones” TV series. This trip is coming Summer 2017, stay tuned!

What’s your number one travel tip?

Lukasz: Don’t keep all the cash in one place.

Kat: Don’t put it off!

Kristina: Always go to new places, the world is so huge and you never know what place you will love the most until you visit as many as you can.

Sylwia: Wear comfortable shoes. Travelling is much more fun if you don`t have blisters on your feet.

Olha: Plan carefully, but be ready for unpredictable situations, because they are so much fun.

CKAC offers many day and weekend trips from London. But, where is your favourite free place to visit in London?

Kat: London is so diverse and I like so many things! I love the Southbank on summer days and nights – it’s just so vibrant and pretty.

Kristina: I love to walk so any of the free walking tours, so that I can see London from the sidewalk.

Olha & Sylwia: Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood!

You must have a lot of fun working at CKAC! What do you do for fun in your spare time?

Kristina: I travel a lot and visit new places all the time.

Olha: Besides travelling I like to play piano, compose and sing songs together with my husband and puppy :).  We’re fond of board games, ‘wasgij’ pazzles and Marvel comics, so we often gather friends at home to play some games, like to spend hours to complete the pazzle, excited to see the result (as we do not know it before) and reading comics. Also I like handcrafting, like making toys or embroidery.

Sylwia: I love exploring new places. But when I`m home, I read books and comics, I play video games. I watch TV series and I do awesome to-do list’s 🙂

Lukasz: Reading fantasy books, listening to music, playing computer games.

Kat: CKAC satisfies my need for adventure, so I enjoy relaxing in my free time. Watching movies or tv shows, or even crocheting. Oh, and I got a bit addicted to the Pokemon Go – it helps me to reach my daily walking step count goal!

Which book has inspired you to travel?

Kat: I loved Shantaram. Shortly after reading it I made my first solo trip to India. And while this was the top of my bucket list for a while, the book just added extra spice to it.

Olha: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

Sylwia: I love the books of Polish traveller Martyna Wojciechowska, my favourite is Woman at the Edge of the World. However,  I studied archeology so all history books were a big inspiration.

Kristina: I don’t think I have any books on my list that inspired me to travel, I guess I got the traveling inspiration from some movies 🙂 The blog post, 5 inspirational travel films is a good read.

Lukasz: “The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath” by H. P. Lovecraft.

If you could live in any European city for one year, which one would you pick and why?

Sylwia: Paris- why not? It’s the capital of art and beauty!

Olha: It would be Amsterdam. I love the atmosphere there. Once you come out of the train or plane you feel happiness in the air. I can’t explain it, but there I can feel myself a bit happier too.

Kristina: If I had to choose from the places I have been to, I would choose Amsterdam or Prague. Both cities left so warm feelings in me and gave me so bright emotions. However, I’m going to visit Barcelona and Madrid soon and I have big expectations regarding these cities, so I can change my favourites soon 🙂

Lukasz: I think it would be Rome, because of the mediterranean climate, beautiful architecture, delicious food and nice people living there.

Kat: I used to live in Barcelona, it was not how i had imagined it. So, I came back to London as I was missing it like crazy. It made me realise that I love London more than anything and this is where I want to be. If I really had to move elsewhere, I think I would try Lyon, France.
