Hardy’s Bar in Haslar Marina
Often known as “the home of yachting”, the Isle of Wight is a sailor’s paradise; with many sailing events, courses running throughout the year and hidden coves, estuaries and professionally managed harbours alike to discover – making it the ideal destination for a sailing holiday.
Itinerary (subject of change):
3pm-meeting at Hardy’s Bar in Haslar Marina. We will pick up the Yacht and take an easy motor up to Port Solent (about 1-2 hours very easy sailing under motor). We go through the lock into Port Solent, and moor here for the night.
Dinner and drinks in Port Solent.
Set sail for the Isle of Wight in the late morning – and moor at the Folly Inn: about 4 hours sailing under wind, if there is any wind! Otherwise motor.
Because of where the boat is moored – we will have to catch a water taxi to the Folly Inn.

Leave Isle of White at 11am – and return the boat back to Haslar by 3-4pm.
