The Swiss Alps are a must do before you die and Gstaad offers you an opportunity to see stunning views of Month Blanc and Matterhorn with some home comforts you won’t get elsewhere.
This is our PARTNER EVENT.
Fly to Zurich or Geneva and transfer to Gstaad and meet your new friends at your accommodation. If you arrive early enough, you will have a chance to stroll the town square and visit a local cafe chocolatier or eat some cheese.
FRIDAY – Hike from Glacier 3000
We will start this hike by taking the Gondola to Glacier 3000 then crossing the peak walk by Tissot. It connects the smaller peak (View Point) with the 5 meter higher main peak (Scex Rouge) and takes all guests to incredible heights. The bridge offers a stunning view onto the Alps: Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Below is a video to the PEAK WALK BY TISSOT.
Following this treat, we will follow in one of the beautiful hikes trails, the Reusch -Scex Rouge trail, with breathtaking views and a chance to see adorable groundhogs.
SATURDAY – Fondue picnic day 🙂
On this day we will be doing the some of Alpiness trail, taking a gondola to Höhi Wispile where we collect our Fondue Picnic set. I cannot say how excited we are about this. How chic!
Each pack feeds 2 people, so the second person can carry a bottle of wine if you choose to buy it. Now, hiking fuelled by cheese and wine. How fun is that?
The equipment and backpack is hired and we return them at the same day.
Price is CHF 18.00 per person for the picnic. The price includes rental of the full fondue equipment set, the desired cheese mixture, bread and spices.
We head back home on Sunday, but if you are sticking around, there is the option of doing an easy trek.
During our trip we will do our best to squeeze one go at the Glacier 3000 alpine coaster @ £10
Gstaad is an expensive, high class place, so we will stay in a very cool hostel instead of a hotel.
The hostel has a bar and excellent food. Buffet breakfast is included.
Price structure: Here at CKAC, we know how hard it can be to save money for that dream adventure, so that’s why we offer a deposit scheme on most of our trips. The idea is that you can pay an initial deposit for your chosen event or trip, in order to reserve your spot, but you are still left with the remainder of the payment, to pay at your own convenience, allowing you more time to save.
Once the deposit of £28 + paypal fees has been paid we will contact you with further details.
This is our PARTNER EVENT.
What is a Partner Event?
At Curious Kat’s Adventure Club we want to offer you the best variety of events and trips. We have teamed up with other companies who share our enthusiasm for travel, excitement and new experiences.
So while we aren’t the organisers of these events, you should know that we’ve worked closely with our partners to make sure we offer you the best adventures. This means that after paying the deposit via our website, you might be asked to pay the balance directly to the organiser. Once you pay the deposit, all the further details will be sent straight to you.
Total must be paid by June 15th.
All payments are non-refundable and unless the trip is cancelled or rescheduled. Once full payment has been received you may sell your space to a member of the same sex, however, if you miss the final payment deadline or pull out of the trip before final payment is made your space will be lost and your deposit will not be refunded or transferred.
