Belgium Adventure-Christmas Markets in Brugge, Chocolate and Beer Tasting!

From late November until Christmas each year the entire old town of Bruges as it’s known transforms into a Christmas market wonderland. From the intoxicating scent of warm, fresh waffles to the twinkling fairy lights reflected in the canal, Bruges is hard to beat for a fairy-tale Christmas break. Let`s enjoy the festive atmosphere together, eat from the street stalls and try famous Belgian beer and chocolate!

Highlights:

-Explore the magical city of Brugge-idyllic, charming and ridiculously beautiful, wander around old market and canals with a mulled wine or hot chocolate in your hand.

-Visit one of the most beautiful Christmas Market Village in Europe, full to the brim with food, drinks, and craft stalls.

-Indulge yourself with food, from Belgian staples of frites, comforting waffles and chocolate truffles to mussels in a cream sauce and croquettes. Followed up by the mulled wine of course!

-Sample the best Belgian beers from the barrel with a view of the Brudges Market

GETTING TO BRUSSEL:

Traveling from Brussels to London is a 373 kilometers direct journey that takes 1:10 h by airplane. You can also reach London from Brussels via train or bus. Direct trains take approximately 2:45 h while buses take at least 6½ hours.

Itinerary

Friday

At the evening, we will all meet in the hotel, which is located 15 min from the Midi train station. Depending on the arrival times, we will head to the Grand Place to have food and mulled wine.

Saturday

After breakfast, we will catch a train to Brugge and head to Brugges Beer Experience where we discover the history of beer, learn more about Trappist and abbey beers, the many beer types, the brewing process, woman and beer, food pairing and more.

Time to explore Brugge and Brugge Xmas Markets!

We will finish with the evening train back to Brussels and more exploring and beer/mulled wine drinking if you wish.

Sunday

After breakfast, we will check out and explore the city of Brussel. The options are numerous, from free walking tours to the numerous museums, Royal Palace and Mannekin Piss statue.

Before heading back to London we will meet for a late lunch together in one of the numerous restaurants/cafes.
